Deep Fork Capital (DFC) is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing globally in entrepreneurs who are creating disruptive technology-driven innovations in the Consumerized Internet. We collaborate and partner with inspired, creative entrepreneurs who are driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact, with a focus on software-driven sectors including adtech, digital media, enterprise, gaming, social, e-commerce, big data and cloud computing deployed across multiple platforms including web and mobile. Tim Komada

Founder and Managing Partner

As the Founder and Managing Partner of Deep Fork Capital (DFC), Tim spends his time working closely with our portfolio's entrepreneurs to help build world-class companies, investing in both consumer technologies and the consumerized and smart enterprise.

Tim has a 15-year history as a technology entrepreneur, operator, advisor and investor, and he has helped dozens of leading companies create billions of dollars in exit value. As a venture capital investor, Tim feels fortunate to be able to act as a partner alongside DFC's portfolio companies, advising them and helping them navigate their paths to success. Tim sits on the boards of several DFC portfolio companies, and his investment interests span a wide variety of sectors across both consumer and enterprise technologies.

Prior to founding Deep Fork Capital, Tim was Co-Founder and CFO of Vintrust. Prior to that, Tim spent several years working in M&A and strategy roles with large technology companies including IBM and Exodus Communications, as well as executing complex transactions as a private equity investor focused on internet infrastructure buyout opportunities.

Tim holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, a JD and MPP from William & Mary, and BS and BA degrees from The Citadel.

Adam Besvinick

Principal

Based in New York, Adam is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, evaluating them, and working with existing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Deep Fork Capital, Adam was the first business hire at Wanelo, leading partnership, business development, and monetization initiatives with brands, retailers, and media properties. During business school, he worked with Chris Sacca and Lowercase Capital in a similar role to the one he holds now. He also spent time handling business development efforts for Gumroad, partnering with creators to enable them to distribute and monetize content more easily. Prior to business school, Adam worked at Jefferies & Company in the telecom investment banking group, focusing primarily on M&A transactions.

Adam holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated cum laude from Duke University with a BA in Public Policy Studies.
